Interior Design with Barn Doors
A recent trend in interior design and remodeling is using barn style doors inside a home . Both decorative and functional, barn doors are becoming the next big thing when people are renovating their home. Usually, the barn doors are used as sliding doors, but they can be used in a variety of capacities. Many homeowners like the rustic look of a barn door. For example, we recently installed a sliding barn door for a residential remodel job we did for one of our clients. The barn door was installed in lieu of a traditional door for the client’s laundry room. It is an eye-catching and fun design element. Laundry rooms are not the most exciting part of the house, so adding a sliding barn door makes this area a little more pleasant. Not only does it enhance the look, but it also is practical.
